What is the Divi Facebook Embed module?

Facebook Embed is a Divi 5 module in Divi Supreme Pro that shows a single public Facebook post or video on your page. Paste the URL and the module loads Facebook’s official embed, so likes, comments and sharing keep working.

For posts, choose whether the post text is shown. For videos, allow fullscreen, autoplay and captions. It uses the Facebook App ID you add once in the Divi Supreme settings.

Questions about Facebook Embed.

What can I embed?

A single public Facebook post or a public Facebook video. Set Type to Post or Video and paste its URL.

Do I need a Facebook App ID?

Yes. Add it once in the Divi Supreme plugin settings. The module warns you in the builder if it is missing.

Can I hide the post text?

Yes. Set Show Text to Hide to show only the image or media from the post.

Can videos autoplay?

Yes. Set Video Autoplay to Yes. Most browsers only autoplay muted video, so turn on Show Video Captions too.

Can visitors watch fullscreen?

Set Allow Video Fullscreen to Allow to add the fullscreen button to the player.

Why is my post not showing?

The post or video must be public. Posts from private profiles or groups cannot be embedded.

Does Facebook Embed work with Divi 5?

Yes. It is a native Divi 5 module and works in any row, including Theme Builder templates.
