What is the Divi Random Image module?

Random Image is a Divi 5 module in Divi Supreme Pro that picks one image at random from a gallery each time the page loads. Returning visitors see something new, and you can rotate seasonal photos or banners without editing the page.

Choose the images and their size, link the image to a URL in the same or a new tab, or open it in a lightbox at a larger size. Add a colour overlay with an icon, always on or on hover.

How does Random Image choose?

Each time the page loads, it picks one image at random from the images you added.

Will caching stop it from changing?

The pick happens in the browser, so it still changes on cached pages.

How many images can I add?

As many as you like. Add them from the media library in the Images field.

Can the image link somewhere?

Yes. Turn on Use Image Link URL and set the target. Or turn on Open in Lightbox to show it larger.

Can I add an overlay?

Turn on Image Overlay, choose the colour and icon, and show it always or on hover.

Where is it useful?

Hero photos, seasonal banners, customer photos, product shots and anywhere a bit of variety keeps the page interesting.

Does Random Image work with Divi 5?

Yes. It is a native Divi 5 module with standard Divi sizing, borders and filters.
