What is the Divi Block Reveal Image module?

Block Reveal Image is a Divi 5 module in Divi Supreme Pro that hides an image behind a solid colour block. When the image scrolls into view, the block sweeps across and pulls back, leaving the image behind.

Choose one of four directions, any block colour, a delay and the point in the viewport where it starts. The image can link to a page, open in a lightbox or play a video popup.

How does the block reveal effect work?

A solid colour block slides over the image, then pulls back to uncover it. It plays once, when the image scrolls into view.

Which directions can the reveal move in?

Four. Set Block Reveal Animation to Left to Right, Right to Left, Top to Bottom or Bottom to Top. Left to Right is the default.

Can I change the colour of the block?

Yes. Pick any colour in Block Reveal Color, including your Divi global colours.

How do I delay the reveal?

Set Delay from 0 to 5 seconds. The default is 0.1 seconds. Give images in a row different delays so they reveal one after another.

When does the animation start?

Animate in Viewport sets how far the image must scroll into the screen before the reveal starts. The default is 80%.

Can the image open in a lightbox or play a video?

Yes. Turn on Open in Lightbox, and use Use Other Lightbox Image to show a different picture. Or turn on Use as Video Popup to play a video. You can also link the image to any URL, in the same window or a new tab.

Does Block Reveal Image work with Divi 5 and WPML?

Yes. It is a native Divi 5 module, the image supports dynamic content, and it can be translated with WPML.
