What is the Divi Block Reveal Text module?

Block Reveal Text is a Divi 5 module in Divi Supreme Pro that hides a heading behind a solid colour block. When the heading scrolls into view, the block slides over it and carries on out the other side, uncovering the text.

Choose one of four directions, any block colour, a delay of up to 5 seconds and the point in the viewport where it starts. The text stays a real heading, H1 to H6, with full Divi typography.

How does the block reveal text effect work?

A solid colour block slides over the heading, then keeps moving and slides off the other side, uncovering the text. It plays once, when the heading scrolls into view.

Which directions can the reveal move in?

Four. Set Block Reveal Animation to Left to Right, Right to Left, Top to Bottom or Bottom to Top. Left to Right is the default.

Can I change the colour of the block?

Yes. Pick any colour in Block Reveal Color, including Divi global colours or dynamic content.

How do I reveal several lines one after another?

Use one module per line and give each a bigger Delay, for example 0.1s, 0.4s and 0.7s. Delay goes from 0 to 5 seconds.

When does the animation start?

Animate in Viewport sets how far the heading must scroll into the screen before the reveal starts. The default is 80%.

Is the text still good for SEO?

Yes. It stays real text inside the heading tag you choose in the Text settings, H1 to H6. H2 is the default.

Does Block Reveal Text work with Divi 5 and WPML?

Yes. It is a native Divi 5 module, the text supports dynamic content, and it can be translated with WPML.
